The resort offers a wide range of events and activities for its visitors, including its Eco Adventures services for winter guests. With Eco Adventures, guests can experience activities such as guided snowshoe tours, snowbike lessons, and several kid-friendly programs. The three-and-a-half-hour guided snowshoe tour involves two hours of hiking time and allows adult participants to explore the resort’s forests and meadows on the TopATen Nordic & Snowshoe trails. To experience the mountain scenery another way, guests can also take snowbike lessons and earn a snowbike certification card by completing a two-hour course.
For visitors ages 4–12, Telluride Ski Resort offers an Eco-Exploration program comprised of indoor and outdoor activities. For instance, kids can build snow caves, make crafts, snowshoe, and ice skate. In the resort’s Winter Enrichment programs, children participate in a variety of learning activities, including making soap and candles, performing kitchen science projects, and exploring beaver habitats.
